6 Days, 3 Countries, 1 Brother

Hello and welcome back to my blog, today I will be talking about Long Study Tour #2 which happened last week! As you all know, I already travelled with my class to Poland during the first Long Study Tour, so this time I had the week to do whatever I wanted. Since I was free, my brother decided to come and visit me, and take me to some new places around Europe; so here’s everything we did!

Brussels, Belgium

We started off our adventure in Brussels, Belgium. Here, we began our morning by eating the most amazing waffles I’ve ever had, and then explored the city via electric scooter. I’ve never been on one before, so I was terrified riding the scooter but I also had a ton of fun. We were able to see so much of the city without having to walk everywhere which was great! Afterwards, we headed to a burger spot for lunch, before driving over to Ghent, Belgium where we walked around the city and went to plenty of souvenir shops. After a long day of exploring, we drove back to the hotel and went to bed.

Rome, Italy

Our next stop was Rome, Italy! We started off our first day with a quick lunch, followed by going to the Colosseum and exploring the area around it. During our exploring I had the BEST gelato ever while watching a street performer sing. We then headed over to the Trevi Fountain where we enjoyed the view, took plenty of pictures, and threw some coins in the water! We ended our day with some delicious pasta at a small restaurant near our hotel. The next day, we explored Vatican City, ate more delicious pasta and gelato, and finished our day with dinner at…McDonalds! (don’t hate, it was delicious)

St. Julian’s, Malta

Our last stop was Malta, a small but beautiful country that I honestly didn’t know existed until a few weeks ago! On our first day here, we started off with lunch at our hotel, followed by exploring the town of St. Julians. We then headed over to Mdina, which is a small fortified city full of shops, more gelato, and a beautiful view of Malta. The next day, we started off with lunch at a nearby restaurant before heading over to Golden Bay Beach where we relaxed and enjoyed the water for a few hours before heading back to the hotel. We left Malta really early Friday morning, and of course this beautiful country gave us a gorgeous sunrise to enjoy while we were preparing to leave.

Wrap-Up

This trip was amazing and it taught me that I definitely have the BEST big brother in the world! Our adventure was full of exploring, good food, bonding, and of course plenty of gelato. It was the trip of a lifetime, and I can’t wait for many more!
